Frequently Asked Questions

1. Do you do Lasik at your office?

We work with local surgery centers such as Columbus Laser and Cataract Center, and Revision. We will do your pre-exam, referrals and post op care after the surgery.

2. How do you handle cataracts?

We work with several ophthalmologist for your removal. We will provide referrals, set your appointments and complete your follow up care,

3. If I have a high astigmatism can I still wear contacts?

Yes, we pride ourselves in the "hard to fit" contact lens wearer. We work with a company called SynergEyes using a new Duette fit. It is the crisp vision of the gas perm lens, but with the comfort of a soft lens.

4. If I need to wear bifocals, can I still wear contacts?

Yes, we have both soft and hybrid lenses that has the bifocal powers in them.

5. I work on computers all day and my eyes are tired. Sometimes my neck hurts from my progressives lens. Can you help with that?

Yes, we offer a computer package that focuses on the patient that spends a large portion of their day on a computer. It focuses on both intermediate and near vision while also including a blue-light blocker and an anti-reflective coating.

6. Can I pick the doctor I see?

Yes, we have two Doctors, Dr Jennifer Crowley, who is in the office every Monday, Tuesday, and Friday, and Dr Wendy Hallier, who is in the office every Thursday.

7. How long does it take to get my glasses made?

This will depend on some insurance companies. Most turn around time is about 7-10 days. However, with the changes with VSP some of those plans have to go to their Choice Labs. They having been taking a little longer. They tell us that should be speeding up in the next month or so.

8. How long does it take to receive my contacts? Do you ship them to my home?

Most contacts ships to us in a few days. There is an exception when we are dealing with custom made lens for higher astigmatism. We can ship contacts to your home for a $8.50 shipping fee.

9. Do you file my insurance?

As long as we are a provider we will file your claims. We strive to have your insurance information in place for you before your appointment.

10. What are the times available to see a doctor?

Appointment times are Monday and Friday 10:00 am to 5:00pm, Tuesdays from 10:30 am to 6:00 pm, and Thursdays from 9:15 am to 4:15 pm.
